Ripples

Skin blisters under the sun, lips swell to twice their size. He can see every ripple as the waves come ever closer.

Front Beach, Sth West Rocks, Australia

It was Abra’s idea to bury him in the sand. Said it would be fun.

Abra with her perky little tits, who whinged whenever you touched her up.
She'd tossed her blonde hair over her shoulder, and walked down the beach, promising not to be long.

That was hours ago.

At first the seagulls ran across the sand in front of him, now they waded.

With the water rising fast, and the foamy waves running around the back of his neck.

He now realises she isn’t coming back.

The ripples become small waves, splashing against his lips and nose.

The gulls take flight at the sound of his screaming.
